Hello

Postby Chris3068 » August 22nd, 2018, 8:19 am

Hello and thanks for accepting me into the group. I am 55 years old, live in Virginia, have been around boats all my life. We have just sold our 4100 scr Maxum. And I'm looking forward to purchasing a 500 Carver possibly 96 or 97 model. With the bridge fully enclosed in glass . If we can get the logistics worked out we will be putting it on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. I look forward to the group and discussions.

The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Welcome aboard!
Is there one of those on the lake now? Could get expensive transporting it if not.
Thanks

Welcome aboard!! I had to wiki Smith Mountain Lake. A 50'er seemed pretty big for an inland lake, but I see that Smith Mountain Lake is pretty big!! With 500 miles of shoreline, there should be plenty of places to check out or go hide for a weekend!

Nothing like spending a nice weekend on the hook in some anchorage. I've spent many a weekend on the hook somewhere.
