Welcome aboard Miranda II. I just purchased my 1997 Carver 325 in FEB 18 in Clayton NY and I like the boat a lot, albeit I have had some first-year growing pains maintenance wise with it. The new home of "Comfort Zone" is located at the Western terminus of the Erie Canal. I have twin 350 Throttle-body Crusaders on board. I also have two 81 gallon fuel tanks and each fuels one engine only. Is your vessel the same engine/fuel configuration as mine? I can easily obtain 18-20 mph at around 3400-3600 rpm. Do you have any idea of what your fuel burn rate is? My limited experience with cruising this summer indicates that I am burning about 8/10 of a gallon per mile at this rpm. Does this sound similar to your burn rate? Thanks and I am impressed with your 20 years of experience with the same vessel.
