Postby kyle » August 26th, 2019, 10:09 am

hello, I am hoping to purchase a carver santego 30 next spring to keep on lake michigan "michigan city" . hoping to find out what to look for with this particular vessel, any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. I have been on 2 of them and love the whole design and functionality of them.

Can't contribute too much but we bought our Santego this spring. Have had a few minor things to deal with but that's not unusual with a used boat.
We too really like the layout and functionality of the boat.
I am sure you will be pleased with the purchase.

Welcome to the forum Kyle....there are quite a few threads about that very boat and a number of owners that can help, so have a look around and good luck on your search....... :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Welcome aboard Kyle.

What year? Is it a sterndrive application, if so, what brand?

I have some friends who previously owned a 27' Santego. I was impressed with how much space that boat had for a 27 footer. Carver definitely utilized all the space inside they could. Nice boat. Hope it all works out for you.

Great boat! What year are you looking at? If you can't find a Santego, consider a Mariner. Similar living space, but easier to walk around the bridge. Bridge height is also similar. Good luck! 8-) er
