Hello! Newbie here

Postby BKB73 » June 5th, 2020, 1:12 pm

Glad to have found this resource! Bought my first cruiser last summer 1985 carver Riviera aft cabin 28. Boats in beautiful condition, hope to keep it that way! Been boating my whole life, but owning a cruiser has opened my eyes to how much I dont know about these boats.
I like to try and do my own work when possible, so I'm sure I'll be here a lot!
Cheers!
Brian

Our first boat was an 88 2807.
Great boat.
Hint, when working on the engines, remove all the seating and engine covers. Plan ahead, and do a season's worth of work all at once.
And
Welcome aboard!
Thanks

Welcome Aboard. There is a 28 Riveria docked behind me at my marina. Nice looking boats.

waybomb, I definitely see what you mean! I'm trying to access the vacuflush to trouble shoot it...I've tried moving seats and stuff around to get below...there really is no place to put them!

Everything should be taken off the boat. Makes it easy to do whatever it is you need to do
Thanks
