New to Carver

Postby Carpe Diem » September 25th, 2020, 4:28 pm

We have been Sea Ray owners for the better part of 25 years and are selling our 06 44DB and looking to move into a pilot house class boat. The early 2000s Voyager boats interest us the most. We are deciding on whether to go 53 or 57. The 57 will be a very tight fit in our side tie berth due to the ample swim platform but the 53 seems to look a bit tight in the salon. Id be interested in opinions about either boats. We will do the majority of our boating in the SF bay and Delta region with future plans to cruise the coast in the lightest of conditions. I'm interested to hear of personal experience how the boats handle blue water cruising.
We look forward to our quest, If anyone in Northern Ca is considering selling their 57 or 53 we just may be interested in talking to you.
Cheers
Rusty Mayes
