Thinking of a Carver
We are looking to purchase a 2005 Carver 36 Mariner and have many questions that I am hoping I can find the answers to in this forum.
I hope there is a search feature so I don't repeat questions already asked.

Re: Thinking of a Carver
I did a few searches, but have not found a thread with what I am really looking to have answered. SO ... here goes!
We are avid fisher people. Trolling for walleye on Lake Erie is our favorite thing to do. We currently own (and are selling) a 2021 Crestliner 2250 sportfish. It is a terrific boat, but we recently adopted 2 great danes and .. well .. we need a bigger boat!
My question is - Does anyone regularly troll with a Mariner 36? I know .. a 35/36 foot boat is not normally the choice for trolling, but we really want the space for us and the danes. Yes, we cater to our dogs.

Re: Thinking of a Carver
Interesting that you too like the 2005 Carver Mariner 36. they are hard to find. I will be taking that boat down the ICW later this month. I too like the simple and spacious layout.
I will let you know how the trip goes at end of month.
