Second the value of the flo scan (or some equivalent) It is the next project for this boat. Previous boat I installed a set of Lowrance flow sensors, a GPS (and a couple of other sensors just for fun) and tied them all together to a Nema2K network. It worked great. I found that I needed way more tab than I previously thought and was able to add .6-.8 to my mileage on plane. (05 Cruisers 280, ) It is interesting to see what small tweaks to throttle and tab will do to mileage. Probably a one year payback on parts.
