I would happy to get 6 months!!! I am going in May 12th!! We were out of the water last October around the 15th.... I sometimes wonder why we bother.... I rant on.... OK I am over it!! Thursday here we come.... Splash!!

I look at it this way. I probably could not afford to boat year round. The 6 months of off season allow me to put $$ aside for the boating season.[/quote]

I second that. Not only do we have to put the boat away for half the year, we actually only get nice WARM boating weather a quarter of the year!
We launched April 27th and it was chilly! Did our first cruise to a reciprocating club this past weekend. Beautiful cruise over on Friday but it was toques and gloves on the way back
