DEFENDER, who is going??

Postby tonyiiiafl » March 28th, 2017, 7:46 pm

Is anyone going to the BIGGEST marine sale of the year at DEFENDER in CT? Been the past 6 years with loads of bargains! EVERYTHING is reduced in price! Last year I bought a 12" ray MFD touch screen for $1100.00 and a 9" for $999.00. Quantum Radar for $1049.00! Check them out on line at www.defender.com. Sale prices for the 4 day event go up on the website at 2:00 PM tomorrow! I will be there when the doors open at 9, with about 600 other people!

DEFENDER got another $1600.00 last Thursday and West Marine another $1,000.00. 3 weeks to launch!

I am pretty much ready to launch. Just have to remove the shrinkwrap and set my canvas and go. The problem is we have had pretty much rain every day for the past couple of weeks. It is supposed to rain most every day this week. I do need a couple of dry days in a row to get into the water.

Just waiting on the weather.

I deal with them regularly. Last fall I did a major electronics overhaul on Midnight Sun to the tune of $9,000 at Defender. Shopped everywhere imaginable for the best price but Defender won out at the end of the day. Now if I could get the time to install all this stuff before early May launch, I will be a happy camper.
