Update on my previous swim platform post.
Very disappointed to report that after many many months in anticipation of launching our new purchase, we discovered a problem with the boat - one week before the water test. We have rescinded the deal - but we already purchased the swim platform - based on the positive marine survey that was previously completed.
We are now trying to sell the custom-made swim platform to recover our money.
Just sending out a shout-out to anyone with a Carver 350 Mariner - if you're in the market for an extended swim platform, we're willing to negotiate a deal for an awsome addition to your boat.
Please personal message me if you're interested.
I'll be posting on the "Boat Parts for Sale" forum.
Please pass this along to anyone you know that may be interested.
Thanks again to all for the responses to my previous question.
Cheers - and happy boating in 2018!

Sorry to hear, but actually you had some good luck cause you caught it before closing....must have been fairly serious.....good luck going forward, there are some good ones out there still........ :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

I'm located in Kincardine.
The swim platform is still in the box - it was shipped to the broker - who is located in Southern Ontario.
Fortunately, it wasn't installed - so can be shipped easily with original packing.
Thanks to all for your efforts.
This is a great online community - just sorry I'm not a Carver owner.
