The boat looks great!! I think 23 is pretty reasonable expectation for that size boat with those engines. I have a 36' with 7.4L Crusaders and max out around 28 MPH. I'm sure I'm pushing a lot less water and lifting a lot less weight!

sounds good. We tested a 405 with the 385hp 502's and got to 26 WOT, so it sounds like you have it!

So here is an update.
I got 4400 rpms and 25 mph in 2 ft waves, at the end of my 400 mile trip.
This happened about 2 miles from the marina in the Gulf off the Coast of Mississippi. I put 45 hours on the boat and it had 365 hours when I purchased it. So the port injectors need replacing like I did for the starboard as I am sure they are original.
I am very pleased with these specs. I put 45 or so hours on the generator as well. It ran when I wasnt plugged into shore power. All in all, the boat did great to be a 20 year old dock queen averaging 18 hours a year. I am happy so far with my purchase.

if the port engine runs fine, I personally wouldn't be in a rush to replace the injectors. If you continue to run it regularly, they will most likely be fine.
Ethanol sludges up when sitting unused for extended periods, but cleans the heck out of everything, including the injectors when its fresh.
