How far are you from the border? Reason I ask is there is something I use quite often called Kinek. Basically it gives you a shipping location almost anywhere in the States. A small parcel like the VHF we are talking about costs $5 for their service. Works very well. https://www.kinek.com

Wow, great information, I will look into this. I contacted the retailer to see if they could offer anything better, will keep you posted. I’m in Peterborough so not really practical to drive that far to the border.

I had this VHF on my last boat and loved it.
