Fireboy-Xintex CO2 CMD-4MR model

Postby Cliffm » November 12th, 2018, 3:01 pm

My wife and I are purchasing a 2006 Carver 36 MY with Fireboy-Xintex CMD-4MR Co2 detectors.

it appears these have a "fixed" 4yr 11mo life span. if you have replaced yours, what and where did you get the "marine" equivalent version?

thanks in advance for your replies,
Cliff & Beth

The newer units that replaced those now have a 7 year life. https://www.westmarine.com/search?Ntt=xintex+co

That being said read this and see what I ended up with. These newer models fit the same screw holes which is always a good thing.

Been using them all year, no false alarms but then again I am diesel.
