Yup, got the wife to cut my hair also, Damm, she did a great job . When I got to work, people were asking where I went for the cut! Marina to get back to me, Ha! We all know whats going to happen. I like the zoom idea, another way to get hammered!

So here is a tidbit for Georgian bay folk.....seems these people are ok cash wise......MLM just added three new marinas to their repertoire...

The MLM portfolio now consists of 11 operating Marinas with approx. 3,000 in-water slips, dry rack storage for over 1,500 boats, and almost 250,000sf. of indoor boat storage space......hmmmm...
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

On this side of the border, Safe Harbor has been buying up a lot of the marinas. Luckily, at least so far, they are putting money into most of them so they are nicer facilities. Perhaps that will encourage other owners or investors to do the same in some of the surrounding marinas. There are some pretty sad-looking facilities out there that need quite a bit of TLC.

They actually have more but at least one was closed down to make a water front condo development.

I found out this weekend, that Safe Harbor is buying our marina. The sale is planned to close in the next month or two.

I wonder if all this property acquisition is more about water front real estate development than running marinas...

My marina Gibraltar Boat Yard has just been sold. Waiting to see what if any changes will occur under the new owner.
