Wouldn't it be cool if we had a canal and tunnels up here from the top of Lake Superior, catch lakes Winnipeg and Manitoba, then on to/through the mountains. That'd be quite the engineering task but think of the possibilities. It'd be cool IMO, an extension to the Trent Severn waterway! Can you imagine what that would do for Loopers! Good grief, you'd have to retire really early to complete it if you added that leg to the current ones!
