Looking into a Carver and was told there is an 1/8th inch shaft creep on the starboard shaft.

Welcome aboard.

What are you referring to as shaft creep? This is usually the term used for a shaft that is turning while the transmission is in neutral. Is this what is happening? If this is what you are referring to, what do you mean by 1/8th inch?

I wonder if you mean end play....as in the shaft moves for and aft 1/8" ?
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.
