1989 Carver Montego Mid Cabin 23'

Hey, looking for a little advice, still new to the boat I'm inquiring about. On the starboard side there are two 4" venting tubes coming in to the engine compartment. One is for the blower, what is the other for?

The other is to allow air in for the blower to move the air out.
