Fuel Capacity

Postby mikekomm » March 11th, 2014, 1:38 pm

I just purchased a 1989 Model 4207. The manual on the boat says the 4207's have (2) 200 gallon diesel fuel tanks. The sales listing for the boat said it had 200 gal TOTAL capacity. Did all the 4207's that had the diesel CAT 3208's have 400 gal. total capacity?

You should have a 200 gallon tank on each outboard side of the engines. So 400 gallons.
Unless omebody changed something. The only way to get the tanks out is to take the engines out.
Thanks

Hi There,
We also have a 4207 with 3208 Cat diesels, and we carry 400 US gallons of fuel as well. If the boat is all stock, then I would say that yours carries 400 gallons as well.
