We are getting closer!

Postby Cooler » March 7th, 2023, 12:11 pm

Just about 59 days to launch! Just think, less than 2 months. I bought my touch up bottom paint today, Interlux Bottomkote NT. Pricing up again. They do have their rebate program going from 2-1 to May 1. Fewer products qualify, but I split a gallon with another boater.

For those of you that follow Rick's trials and tribulations, he picks up his new boat in just 39 days. He deserves a better season compared to last year. 6 or 7 trips to the dealer 95 miles away for repairs to a new motor had to really suck! GOOD LUCK RICK! 8-) er

I love working on my boat however buffing, polishing and waxing is something I gave up on a long time ago. Actually when I got this humungous floating Carver condo is when I retired from it. :-D Keeping her top shape during the season, no problem. Now I am faced with trying to find someone every spring when everyone wants it done. Not easy to find people even if you throw money at them nowadays.
Cheers, Hans

Hans, that is why I always look for someone in October, right when Cooler goes in storage. There are usually some young bucs with strong shoulders looking for Xmas money. 58 days and ticking. 8-) er

Totally agree....hire that job out....if you get a good one then hang on. Funny thing is they all look shiny once they go in...... :-D
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Thanks. This coming season has to be a better one. Taking delivery of the new boat April 15th. Will get it out for a shakedown cruise as soon as the weather permits.

oh dear, it's getting closer and I haven't found a boat yet!

Wish I could teleport one from over there to here. Or myself to there, that may be a better idea :captain:
