Stuck sea cock

Postby tonyiiiafl » April 30th, 2023, 1:30 pm

My aft seacock for the aft head was kit exercises by the marina this past winter. It is pretty stick in the open position and I put some pressure in it but certainly didn’t want to break it off from the hill being a 1094 vintage. I do have a locked y valve before it.

Anyway I remember a few years ago I looses the tension but and sprayed and tapped a bit with a hammer and was able to get it freed while in the water. Any suggestions how I should approach this while in the water?
