24 volt gauges

Postby Captain Jim » August 2nd, 2020, 3:47 pm

Have a 2002, 57 ft Carver Voyager. Need 2, 4 inch Chesapeake multi gauges (oil, temp, volt, fuel) Faria has these gauges but only in 12 volt. We need 24 volt. Does anyone have a source for these gauges?

Unfortunately the 24- 12 v stepdown won't work. All of your senders have resistance curves based on 24vdc, so you would need to change them also.

I have the ones I removed from my 99 530. Think they would be the same? I have TAMD 122 P-B motors. Someone on here had asked me if I would part with them but I wasn't ready at the time. Dave

If they are indeed Faria Beede gauges, they still have a repair service as a last resort. Are you sure they're Faria? Wonder why they dropped their 24 volt line? Have you contacted them? Have you contacted Carver or checked https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/
