We bought our Carver 450 in Kemah last July and spent three and a half weeks living on board at the Boardwalk Marina there. Great place with plenty of great Restaurants just out the marina gate. Very friendly around there too. Motored from there across the Gulf to Palm Beach. A fabulous trip. Now waiting for the boat to arrive here in New Zealand next week but missing Texas.Hope to get back there soon.
