Never fear we will go from heat to air in one day this year....if not we will have to rename launch day from splash to crunch.... :-O

Cold and dreary here in Michigan just south of Detroit. Supposed to be cold and damp for the next week+. Last year at this time I was prepping my boat for launch. I am going to wait until we get at least consistent 50's temperature wise. Mine is still under the shrinkwrap.

Interesting weather day yesterday...rain ,ice, snow, then very high winds and blowing snow, now this morning started out at -10C ( 14F ).....hmmm even the driveway guy had to clear it last night, wow what a spring so far.. :-O ....even the golf course did not update their sign this week and left it at three weeks......at least we have the Masters this week.......

Well here we are with apparently one week to go....the local golf course has quit counting down and still shows 3 weeks to golf/boating, as the course is covered in snow. Last night it snowed again, -6C ( 21F ) out now, still over 12" of ice in front of the marina, over three feet of snow drift between the boats in the yard.
The official term for this is Sprinter I believe..Oh how we missed our months in the panhandle this year.... :help:

Anyone for the new ice age.

Global Warming my ass! 6" of snow Thursday, High winds and still 32 degrees F here. I'm not unwrapping anything until the long range forecast has 50 degree temps forecast and that surely doesn't look possible at least for another week or so! Just can't seem to get motivated to go to the boat and do anything on the list yet.
