Good for you Rick. You didn't miss a thing. Weather has been cold & wet for days! The 60's ( normal temp for late April ) are finally getting here this weekend. Water level right up to the bottom of the slip finger. Access to boat is not going to be easy. Happy boating all! 8-) er

Mr & Mrs American, and all the ships at sea. Cooler By The Lake is also in the water! Launched at 11:30AM on 5/6, in the slip by 1:15PM after a great 22 mile cruise. Crusaders growled awake after a looonnnngggg winter's nap. Can't wait till I can get power and water on May 15. Going up tomorrow to do some more "cleaning". FEELS GREAT TO BACK IN THE WATER! 8-) er

It definitely is great to be back IN the water. I haven't left my dock yet but that will happen soon for my beginning of season shake down cruise.

Well congrats guys, Ya'all beat me by a week or so.......I think the original estimate was not far off for you guys......this week is the 25th week from when the thread started, a long winter for us this year for sure and not just in time but lack of sun and the weather, yikes...... :-O

You guys from the south must think we are a bit whacked to spend all this money to boat for only a few short months, I will admit the thought has crossed my mind.... :help: We got thru it though and everyone have a good and safe boating season.......have one for me..... :beergood:

They just announced that great lake water levels will be at record or greater for a good part of the season. Watch out for floating picnic tables and other assorted debris.

Just have to make a cradle to fit the new dinghy on the utility trailer and we are about done except for the boat in on the 15th, I will finish the toilet at the slip, need heat to fit the hoses.
