Still to cold and chilly here for me. I am going to shoot for an April 30th or May 7th launch. We'll see what happens. I am picking up my jetski April 23rd from winter storage. Hope to hit the water on it by mid May.

Going to the boat today for the first time since haul out last fall. Mostly investigative planning and bringing some new stuff with me accumulated over the winter.

Sigh - Moving the boat , estimates are mid-may / mid-june before it gets to it's destination. Hopefully in the water for June.

Well it may be the last time for some time before I get to go to the boat again. Ontario just announced border closures for Quebec and Manitoba. God nows how long this will last. I am rather depressed right now, think I will down a couple of bottles of wine tonight with my wife to ease the pain. Only good news is everything was perfect at the boat today, no smells, no humidity, just like I left it last fall. May run out one last time on Sunday as the closure is Monday. :censored:

I really do not see why Ontario closed the borders, it's not Quebec or Manitoba that is out of control, it's Ontario. They should have imposed an 8 o clock curfew like we have had for quite some time. Guess it's a political move and makes the population feel good that something is being done.
Cheers, Hans

Your boat looks great in the water for sure. Is the best feeling in the world isn’t it. I have been up to mine doing some spring prep stuff and I will start to wax tomorrow. Just going to wait and see what the effects of the lock down are here in Ontario, not supposed to travel. Marina doesn’t have an issue with us going up and working on our boats, but need to be responsible and social distance.

Would appear that the police are going to enforce a stay at home order. I am sure they are not happy about that, but the numbers are going crazy here.

I feel for you Hans, as a border separates you from your boat.

Stay safe and for the lucky ones enjoy your boats.

A lot of events are closed this summer. Last summer we used a lot of moorings instead of slips to go places, but usually did not go ashore. Looking like the same this year. She comes home Sunday. 55 degrees, 8 MPH wind in my favor. More when that happens! I feel for you in Canada. TRULY!

Where do you dock then?

And as Doug said, our is moving with the date being between mid-May - mid June. Moving from Manitoba to Ontario!! Hopefully by the time it moves, we can travel to NW Ontario.
