Change of plans. Now picking up the jetski April 30th. Hope to uncover the boat May 7th or 8th and launch May 14th. Of course all of this depends on the weather. Our weatherman this morning predicted accumulating snow Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. Kind of glad I did not uncover the boat this weekend as I originally thought of doing. Hopefully this will be the last of the cold weather. We've already had a couple of 80* days, where is spring.

We had the boat in early and were SO happy! However, last Sunday after we got HOLODECK home from winter storage, Colleen had a medical issue. Her gallbladder ruptured and she was brought by Medical Transport to a renowned Boston Hospital. It was a roller coaster week of Dr’s, Pancreatic cancer specialist (All came back CLEAN!) , tests and 2 major surgeries. We need to let her heal right now, as she came home today, but in 7 weeks another more major surgery is on the horizon, unless the next procedure in 6 weeks is successful. We will still clean HOLODECK up and hope once all is said and done, that we can spend some time on our happy place. Remember, life is very fragile, and can change in a heartbeat. Stay well everyone, thanks for all the advice and camaraderie. I will keep all updated as I can and time permits. Colleen is a trooper and since from S ‘Jersey, she WILL show us how its done. Tony I hope all turns out well.....my thoughts with you and for Colleen's speedy recovery.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Sorry to hear of the admirals issues. Had my gallbladder removed several years ago. No warning it just went and had to be removed. Prayers for a complete recovery.

With the medical technology we have today I am sure there is little to fear however I do understand the worry part.

God speed to recovery.

Geez Tony, I'm honoured that you consider us family enough to share such a private part of your lives. Sounds like Colleen's a real winner so I'm sure you guys will put this behind you soon and can enjoy a carefree summer.

There's better days ahead my friend. Keep us posted.

Jeepers Tony! What a shock! Prayers with you both, and remember what Bob Marley said; "Everything is going to be alright".
Just think how cool it is to be able to look forward to a fun season. We are all fortunate to be boat owners. Look to the future with hope and comfort. 8-) er

This ‘Jersey girl is astounding and showing us how it is done. She has been in high gear 9I am the one asking her to SLOW down!) and restless. A lot of pain from the HUGE incision, but each day a bit better. Staple removal on May 7, another week away. Then in 5 more weeks we see what is next, another 2 hour procedure for stent removal and gallstone removal from bile duct (1.2CM! Go large or go home!) or another invasive organ moving surgery. But in the meantime, tough to keep her down. She is even speaking of making it to the marina this weekend so “I can Clean” while she directs. I am totally great with this arrangement! Thanks for all the kind words and support. Me and my best friend needed it.
