Used boat sales vs Marine fuel price
Still cheaper for you guys in the US, in Canada we are getting hammered, almost 1.80 a litre/6.84 CAD/ USG which is about 5.30 USD/USG and that is not marine gas, just highway. Diesel is even more.
A wild guess for marine gas in Canada to fill our old boat....250 USG total at 2.50 CAD/Litre = About 2375 CAD to fill from MT as opposed to approx. 1120 CAD when we sold it...... .....
Anybody got any current marine fuel price numbers on the water for gas and diesel ??

Doubt it will cause people to sell, they will just travel less and use the marina more. This is definitely a temporary price increase, just need to wait it out.

Indeed you have more/better options. Could even park it at home with no fees and skip a season if you so desire.
Going to really enjoy the efficiency of the diesels at hull speed. Last season I only went through a single tank including both mains and aux tanks and I was not even trying to save. For the first time in my life I did not top off the tanks last year, believe I am sitting around 3/4 tank.
Good news is my wife drives a 2020 Tesla Y and I a 2022 Tesla Model S. At least it will take some of the sting away from the 400km round trip to the marina every weekend.

I like your sense of humor Hans but I think you'll be waiting a while. After this crisis is over, they'll just come up with another one to maintain high prices, they always do.Midnightsun wrote:Source of the post....This is definitely a temporary price increase, just need to wait it out.
