1994 Carver 390 CPMY

Postby tonyiiiafl » July 19th, 2016, 7:24 pm

Proud owner of this fine vessel! However, there is one thing we can't figure out. As we head from the salon down the stairs to the galley (This thing has more staircases than my house!) there are 4 light switches. ONE of them has a green led under it, for I am assuming a light that is out of sight, as in the bilge or a cabinet. However, we can't find where or what this dang switch powers! ANYONE, any help please???

If the LED lights up, but the lights in the engine room don't, chances are they are burnt out.

THANK YOU! I will now hunt for the engine room lights. Thought it had to do with something down below!

Glad you asked that question, Tony, was wondering the same thing. I brought my '94 390 home yesterday for the first time. Still have plenty to figure out. Good luck with her!

I am just amazed at how great use of space and the perfect layout! however, she has more staircases than my house does! The only thing missing is a 110v outlet on the bridge.

That should not be to hard to fix. My 81 3007 does have a 110 outlet upstairs on the bridge. Looks like it came with the boat but who knows, it could have been added at some time. Its nice to have one up there as I have used it a few times already. Saves having to run an extension cord below to the salon.
