front hatch needed

I have a 3297 carver mariner I have a port side front hatch that has a crack in the window HELP where can I get a new window?..... can I take the window apart???........do I need to to replace the entire hatch?..... notopfun@yahoo.com

Are you talking about the deck hatch or the portlight hatch (hull side)? If its the deck hatch, it will probably be a Bomar and you should be able to order the glass piece without too much difficulty. There will be an identification number somewhere on the hatch that you will need to provide them.

Get your cheque book, they are not cheap.

On the frame of the hatch is a serial number....get that and call Bomar (Pompanette), and they can tell you if the "lens" is still available or if you have to replace the entire hatch

Good Luck with replacing the glass only. Better just measure the hatch cover size and order the new one, which buy the way will not align up with the old screw holes, so ur going to have to get some epoxy and fill the old holes first and drill all new holes. Benn there! Mike
