What's under there?

Postby Tjsabo » March 31st, 2017, 12:48 pm

Hey all,
My 4207 has a raised platform between the twin beds in the V birth, anyone know the purpose for this platform? Maybe I could score some more storage if the purpose was origianlly for an option that was not installed on mine

Is it a platform that you can pull and raise up to the level of the beds? Our 3207 has that and it came with a cushion. When raised up, it basically turns it into one big bed instead of two twins.

It's most likely raised to allow for the curvature of the bow of the boat. There probably is some room there, but it would be bilge and probably nasty...

Could the a.c.be under there?
Our 4207 had a single side berth with a cabinet on the starboard side with the ac inside.
There was a lot of storage under that r raised side berth.
Do you have an access hatch under each one of the mattresses
Thanks

Thanks for everyone insight....Waybomb my air is under the intersection of the two births in the “V” and there is no easy access to the space under the two births but that could be easily rectified with a saw :-P.
Ramsport that is my assumption as well, if I pull off the carpet and cut an access door in that area am I likely to find just dead space and no real extra storage…..but still curious. :captain2:
