2001 Carver 350 Mariner - Dinette Table/Cushion

Postby Darrah33 » May 6th, 2017, 11:09 am

We are in the process of purchasing a 2001 350 Mariner. Along the way one of the owners swapped out the dinette table in the salon and tossed the cushion that allows it to convert to a bed. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement cushion? I can look into having a custom cushion made but wanted to explore options first. Also just in case, how about a replacement table? (dimensions on the current one are a bit different, hopeful but not positive it will work to convert to bed)

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum........we have the same boat and with the original table......when you put the table down it sits on the small step you can see on the front of the dinette seat bases, that is what supports it, that would define the size for you.

I don't know where you could get original, maybe great lakes skipper, probably custom made will be the answer, one thing have a real good look around the boat, you may find them, storage behind the bow seat??..actually we have ours at home and it is a three piece folding cushion..looks like an accordion...hope this helps...... :beergood:

Thanks for the response! The current owner has had it a few years and said it wasn't on board when he bought it, so assuming it's long gone. Will likely go the custom route, unless a gently used one turns up.

I know this is an old thread, but I have a Carver Mariner 350 and our table doesn't seem to go down far enough for it to fit in the seat channels and not allowing the cushions to fit correctly. It looks like all original and the table shaft just seems to long. Any input or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure on the Mariners, but on my 3607 you wiggled the table, lifted it and REMOVED the shaft and just put the tabletop on the channels for support.

Thanks for feedback. However, the shaft is affixed to the underside of table, so not a simple removal. Still perplexed

The table on out Mariner is kina tough to go up and down but it does just that, maybe use some graphite on it.

Hi, I own the same boat. I want to tell you that when you put the table down, it sits on the little step that you see on the front of the seat for the dinette. Base, that's what supports it, which would determine your size. I advise you to buy the AB Yachts 116 motor yacht, which the AB Yachts shipyard has manufactured since 2009. The AB Yachts 116 is a 36.20m motor superyacht with 16 berths, 1.20m draft, and can reach 50 knots. The carbon hulled yacht is CE (A) certified, which means it is designed for high seas. If you do not have enough money, I advise you to at least once ride on it; you can rent it from vistayachts.com
