That’s a great question. I just purchased her last week and there are no books to go with it. All I can say is it is pressurized and probably holds less than 10gallons of waste before I went to pump out. I would not think it’s some kind of waste transfer pump because it is a small hose gong to a pump and then there is a red looking small gallon sized pressure tank after the pump. I need to find a good resource for a manual

Sounds like you're describing your fresh water pump and accumulator tank. Is it a fresh water system toilet or does it draw sea water?

Try putting the trim tabs down at slow speeds, this will cause drag and eliminate wandering and should help with the roll.

I have the same boat for a few yrs now and am just getting it ready to start using it more. I've been going through it and making minor repairs and stuff. I have been looking at a Wander fin to put on the outdrive. It has good reviews and I think it will solve that one slow speed issue. There are different models available but all should do about the same

It's either to pump out the shower or the septic holding tank. May need to flush out the drains

Good afternoon all! I have an ‘87 Santa Cruz and on my recent 5 day trip to RI I was barely making 20 mph at 4000 rpm. There were 2 of us aboard and a full water tank but I was disappointed at the speed and fuel consumption. It has a 15.25”x 15” prop which other members say gets them 30 mph. Could it be slipping? I put 15.75”x17” as it says the boats was tested with in the manual but it done the hub before I even hit 3500 rpm. Help??? :-(

RE: "but it done the hub before I even hit 3500 rpm" What does that mean"

Is the 4000 at wide open throttle or is that just the RPM you decided to run at? What's the condition of the bottom and running gear?
