530 Voyager Pilothouse

Postby Cindy Truax » June 26th, 2019, 10:26 am

Hello Fellow Carver Owners,
I have a 1999 530 Carver Voyager Pilothouse that needs new blinds. I called Carver and was given a number that is no longer in service. Has anyone ever replaced their salon mini blinds and if so, where did you find them? Thanks

I'm in the same boat (no pun intended). Would be very interested in new blinds for my 530, as well. We currently have nothing up so there's not much privacy at the dock at night.

Any custom fit blind supplier/retailer would be able to go measure and cut to size what you need. Even Home Depot has subcontractors that will come out and measure what you need. You can go to the store to choose the type and material you want. Sky's the limit when it comes to material costs, design types and options, even motorized with wireless remotes.

I have tried to replace my blinds. I only found one person in Fl that would replace them. Custom blind people wouldn't touch the boat. They aren't cheap.

Interestingly, we have used Poseidon for our Fla condo and they do a fantastic job. Waiting to take my boat down there to have them work on it!

I measured and installed my own from Blindster .com on my Seray 44DB. They are quite easy to DIY and nothing special about installation on a boat.

I priced out blinds for my 450 from Poseidon. They would be beautiful, but very expensive. They are the only place I could find to do them.
