fuel tank issue

Postby Moniak » September 23rd, 2019, 6:06 pm

Hi,

I have a 2001 Carver 444 and am having a hard time figuring out how to switch fuel tanks from auxiliary to main. I flipped the switch in the engine room to main tanks but the port engine wont draw fuel from the main. any ideas?

Regards,

Mark

There is the valve to switch from main to aux but there is also a valve at each tank. Check to make sure the valve on the main tank you want to draw from is open.

I agree with Midnight Sun. I have a 2006 44 CMY and they only way that you would not be able to get fuel from your main tank is that you have not got the valve lever in the right position or the ball valve to the main tank is closed.
