Re: Location of sea strainer
The pump and strainer are in front of the starboard engine. There is only one raw water pump for all the units on board unless someone changed something. If the aft unit is working, the pump should be fine. Have you tried checking to see if the fwd unit works on the heat cycle? Also make sure the evaporator and intake screen are clean and free from obstructions, and check to ensure water is discharging on the starboard side at the bow close to the water line if you're talking about the v-berth unit.

Re: Location of sea strainer
I used to have a 3807 and it had 3 AC units all running on one pump. When you are running both units, do you have water discharge of both units?
Dumb question...have you turned down the temperature low enough to kick in the compressor? Can you hear the compressor turning on and off as you adjust the temp either up or down?
Agree with viper, turn it on heat mode and see what happens.
Several things could be happening and unfortunately, one issue could be a bad AC that needs to be replaced.
Play around with it and let us know what's happening.
