I don't think you'll have a problem getting the arch off. The bigger issue is usually the wiring in there and the previous installers made it 'easy' or 'hard' to disconnect what's in there. I think there are several 350s that got shipped and are in various threads on here. Nice boat.

Congrats and welcome aboard. Hopefully a member with the same model that's had it transported will chime in.

Where are the shipping points? The arch does come off, that is the only way you can get under the max transport height. 8-) er

Here is some info on the arch. I posted under another thread "Carver Assembly Instructions" with a link to a Carver site with all the ones listed, going back to the 90's. Here is one for a later year Mariner, but I think it's the same. It shows how to install the arch so you get an idea what's entailed.

We transported our 1997 Mariner 350 about 80 miles and did not have to remove the arch. Had to remove the anchor light assembly. If you are in the western half of the US the height while be close but will not be a problem. If in the eastern US, it is a different story as bridge heights are much lower. A good transport company will help with this as most have moved a few of these. Do you have your build specs? I’ll look for mine which should be the same. Where are you transporting from - to?

We moved our 2003 350 about 300 miles and didn't take the arch off. That was Houston to Dallas.
We did have to take the anchor light, radar and tv antenna off.
