3607 Front enclosure

Postby Grafunkus » July 20th, 2021, 8:47 am

I am considering replacing the whole enclosure for our '85 3607. Our current front "windshield" has a center seam that I find very annoying. I also find the support brackets a little odd, but apparently they are correct (according to the manual diagram). Looking for photos of what others have to get some ideas and inspiration! Not the best picture I have.

My original design had a seam directly in the center of my line of sight from the helm chair. I had it changed. You can have them make it anyway you want it.

Mine had three panels. The center one had a zip-out open section to let air through, with no screen. Worked really nice.

I did not have those angled metal supports, but two straps that just clipped on. Made it easy to take the canvas down and fold the framing back, which is the way we used the boat most of the time. We only put the enclosure up when either the weather was inclement or early and late in the season when it was colder out.
