3207 Cored or Solid Hull

Postby funeraldirector » July 25th, 2022, 6:30 pm

Hi,

The hull on my 3207 model 1988 vintage is solid not cored? Want to put in-hull Raymarine transducer on Axiom 9.

That is correct. Solid below the waterline. Cored about 10 inches above waterline. There were a number of coring techniques used. Most were balsa core on top decks & swim platforms. There were a number of years where there was a hybrid foam panel used on the hull, up to the rub rails. Not sure what the 88 production year used. 8-) er
