Max - worth a shot. He does advertise a willingness to travel on his website. Probably a timing issue and current work commitments more than anything. We are still in an above average temperature weather pattern, so that helps. Temp here is going to be 50F today! 8-) er

Just to close this out, I was able to find a surveyor, and he's going to be ready in Mar when I start getting the boat ready to go.

When I purchased my 530, I flew my mechanic to Florida for the survey. I'm glad I did. He found thousands of dollars' worth of issues. I was able to negotiate and get it all fixed before taking possession. If I were you, I'd make sure I had a diesel mechanic as well as a surveyor.

I have three options for survey at this point. Going to decide in a few weeks. Thanks for the guidance.
