New bellows

Postby TJK » January 31st, 2017, 2:20 am

I am going to b replacing my bellows, shift cable, gimble bearing and u-joints on both my 180's in a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone has ever used the kit from seirra that includes everything. And if they r worth using. Thank u

I used the sierra kits years ago on the 3.7's with the gen 1 alpha drives. Had no issues. Just remember you need about five hands and the bellows adhesive when putting it back together. Also, if you haven't already, replace the water pumps while the drives are off.

This is easier to do by removing the bell housing. If you plan on doing that, you'll need the hinge pin tool to remove the hinge pins.
