Window Track Cat Whisker replacement

Postby dtcom » January 16th, 2022, 10:02 am

I am looking to replace the "zipper piling" in the window tracks on my 1994 Mariner 330. Does anyone know the size to order?

I noticed you were on on that thread. What's different on your application? Can you post pics?

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures right now. I saw the recent posts, but my question is whether all Carvers use the same sizes. The post showing the size was for a 3607. I was hoping someone with a Mariner 330 may know what size that boat uses.

Pull a piece out and measure the width of the backing and the width of the pile. Mine on a 430 ended up being .270 backing, .350 pile height. I ordered form DK Hardware.

Yeah, not all boats use the same size(s)... Our '96 370 Voyager uses 2 different pile heights/thickness .30 & .50.... Backer width appears to be the same .270
