Vertrifico Fridge

Postby tonyiiiafl » March 5th, 2022, 6:11 pm

I got my Virtrifigo fridge today from DEFENDER. POOR installation directions. There is a metal bracket taped to the top and I haven’t a clue where it goes. I read i the manual that the front bracket can be adjusted to set the unit either deeper or more shallow in the cut out? Also, do they make a digital thermostat for it, rather than the mechanical one tucked right back inside? This is my view for the next 6 weeks as it sits in y office, awaiting for the launch and installation.

The bracket should be a filler plate for the bottom depending on how your hole is cut and the fridge sets.
I have used in the past a simple outdoor thermometer laying in the fridge to get a good reading of the temp. Adjust every day or so to dial it in.

Just check out amazon....there are lots of digital fridge freezer thermometers that have memories and will keep track of high low etc. some even have alarms to set if that is what you are looking for.......
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Nice fridge! I'm a bit jealous! I was going to buy one of those to replace my old Norcold, but sold the boat before I did. That was one of the improvements I was looking forward to if the boat didn't sell. Everyone I know that has them likes them.

Not surprised the instructions aren't that great. They probably anticipate that most of these will be installed by pros who have done a few before.
