I started replying to you but realizef I may not be the right Greg that you meant to answer you. Anyway for me it was easy enough on my 405 to come into the salon door. I know you have different boat but you could remove the fridge/freezer door to gain more room and also if you want to change the door swing direction.

They have always gone through the companionway door from the aft deck to the salon. You will more than likely have to remove the doors and hinge from the refrigerators to get the in/out, easy to do. The carry it up/down with the opening to the side.

To get them on/off the aft deck, lift over the skirt wall by removing the canvass either from the side or down the stairs depending on the height of the dock in relation to your boat.

Hope this helps.

ONE thing I notice, perhaps there is no enclosure, it does come on what seems like pretty often, but also maybe 10 minutes then shuts off. .....

My experience, around every 15 to 20 minutes cycle on and off is about right depending on ambient and material inside the fridge.....
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Probably coming in like it is because it is empty and nothing to absorb the cold. Nice unit for sure.

Every time I have swapped a refrigerator out to a Vitifrigo the admiral loves it. My friends that have made the switch feel the same way. The cooling is much more consistent and she can get more in it. I like them because they are more efficient and is a little easier on the batteries while on the hook.

All in all the newer technology is better than the older units that come with the boats. They appear to be more reliable.
