I'll chime in to add that when I replaced our carpet with LVP I found multiple access covers that had been carpeted over! :banghead:

Km1125/Bud37/Buster53/KyleR thank you all for the replies. OK i will go back and see if there is another access panel..I"m praying there is. Stand by. wont get to it until this weekend. this 9 to 5 job is getting in my way!

maybe the side access panel is the way to get to it. i can reach it but will be difficult unbolting the pump from the discharge line. i will give it a hot before i cut a access panel

Sometimes, you have to think outside the box when working on a boat. Some years ago, I needed to replace the onboard water pump on the 3807 I had at the time. Access was difficult. I stuck my head inside that access port many times and literally spent hours racking my brain on how to remove/replace the pump. The difficulty was removing the pump from the board it was mounted on. Access was just so tight, it wasn’t possible. Then one day, the light bulb lit up and the answer was in front of me the whole time. Instead of removing the pump from the mounting board, remove the mounting board from the boat itself and once I had everything outside the bilge, remove the pump from its mount. Even though access was tight, it turned out to be a fairly easy job. 10 times easier than replacing the pump on my 356….that was a nightmare.

I have the same boat. Most likely: The city water connections are leaking. (Or the wash down/shower connections) You can verify this by removing the access panel in the closet and using a selfie stick to video while under pressure.
The repair can be done outside by removing the culprit component(s). I removed the entire box (unnecessary) but I was new to the boat.
Then you should be able to fix the pex fittings/hoses. Remember they are all 15mm (not 1/2”) Good Luck. Call me if you are unsure. 402-281-5300.

buster53 = Thanks for the advise, yep started to think the side access panel is the way to get to it. might have to remove/move some lines and slide the grey box toward me to access the pump easier

trwestman - hello fellow 506 owner. finally i have someone with the same boat i can ask questions, greatly appreciate providing your contact. Thank you for chiming in.. I did remove the panel in the rear closet but didn't see any sign of leaking city water, but i will definitely give a selfie stick

I know my city water valve cracked from freezing. I now use a fitting for my compressor and blow air through the valve before winterizing the water system. This way I know I get antifreeze into that valve. Good Luck.

Ok, sorry for the delay in getting back, my 9 to 5 is killing me!

So this past weekend i pulled the carpet and laid newspaper down. Its coming from the stern/swim platform, I washed the boat and that's when i started seeing water coming in from the rear closet wall. Picture highlighted in red. I can't seem to find where the water is coming in from, I pulled everything i can take out, will bring my inspection/scope camera hopefully this will help me locate it.

Will re-caulk all the seams/panels, hopefully this resolves it. What caulk do you guys suggest?

I do have a bracket bolted on to my rear wall for a outboard maybe that's where the intrusion is coming in

thanks all !

I have 89 3807 and changed out my aftcabin a/c last year, I noticed over the weekend that the rug was wet near the bathroom door. Found the problem was a loose hose clamp, when you run any unit, I have 3 units the circulator pump was pushing water thru my aft unit with the loose fitting. Good luck
