86 Carver Montego 26, side access panels

Postby mundoog » May 22nd, 2017, 11:14 am

I wondering if there is a good way to get the VHF cabled from outside of the drivers side. How would I access the cable once it's in the side of the boat? Is there an access panel on the front of the Pocket?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you might be able to offer.

Not sure if it's the same or not, but in my old 27 Montego there was a panel in the ceiling of the mid cabin for accessing wiring runs to the dash, and then you remove a dash panel to gain access at the dash

Thanks so much for you response Kenny, I appreciate it.
I was wondering if the front panel in each side pocket in the back area comes out? I had the marina work on replacing the fuel line and I noticed the fire extinguisher had been moved.

I'll look for the panel like you said the next time I'm on the boat.

Thanks again and Safe Boating to you and yours!
