1977 Carver Santa Cruz Hull Question

I have a 1977 28' Santa Cruz. My lower station has a lever that switches the steering between the upper and lower station. It's quite a complex transfer system but works well. This means that one wheel will always be in 'neutral'. You just have to make sure it's in the position before leaving the dock!!
