live wells 350 Mariner

Postby mgd553 » May 30th, 2017, 8:52 pm

I've got 2 live wells in the bow. I'll never use them as live wells so I want to open the drains but they are plugged. I cannot figure out how to unseat the plugs. Any ideas? thanks!

The wells you refer to are access to your waste pumpout and fresh water fill. Mine have never had a plug. You might try air pressure from the drain port on the side of the hull to blow any debris out of the hose. You can access the hose for removal if necessary from under the front seat by the A/C unit. These wells are for fender storage etc.
Hope this helps.
