Carver Mariner Shower Head

Postby amanphoto » November 3rd, 2017, 5:58 pm

Has anyone updated there shower head in the Carver Mariner 350? The current set up with a wand and a holder is ok, but has a tendency to flop around. I would like to keep it removable for cleaning, but would like a more stable mount.

Yes! You can just go to Lowes or Home Depot and pick one up. Also u can find parts for the one u have to tighten it up. Or try tighten up the one u have. If its plastic it might be broke!

Is the thread standard? Can it be replace by the same type as we would purchase for home?

Heh Fraser....how big a freshwater pump do you think we would need for one of those large rain heads ????... .... :-D
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

"Standard" is somewhat subjective. What was the standard plumbing hookup for faucets only a few years ago isn't necessarily being used in all fixtures today. With a little creativity though, if the new fixture plumbing differs from your existing hardware, you should be able to find adapters to make it work, I've had to do this many times.

I had to replace my shower head last year on my boat. I went to one of the local marine places and they had just what I needed in stock. I think it was $20 or so. I only needed to replace the shower end not the bracket that holds it.
