Re: Carver Mariner 350 City Water Hookup - Winter
I took care of the issue yesterday.
Viper was 'right on' when he suggested that there is a TEE fitting in line. I attached the photo.
The line going north leads to the shore water fitting and has another TEE in line leading to the fresh water wash down faucet.
The two heading east feeds both the transom shower and the rest of the boat.
My first inclination was to release the line feeding the boat because the transom door was 'locked shut' by the shrink wrap. It was not coming apart very easily so I decided that rather then cause damage, I would cut the wrap.
Then it was easy-peasy. Four screws and a few 'lefty-loosy' turns and I was able to utilize Mike's vacuum technique.
I got some moisture up and out and then decided to suck out of the fresh water wash down faucet/valve.
This did the trick and although I pulled mostly pink, I sure there was some clear water in there.
Thanks to all for your advise
