1998 350 Mariner Bilge Location

Postby grizer » August 7th, 2018, 3:01 pm

Hi, I have a 98 350 Mariner and cannot locate the "mid" bilge. Anyone know specifically where it is and how to access it? Owner's Manual says "located between Salon and Cockpit" which is not helpful. I pulled all the access panels and no luck finding it. 2nd question, mine doesn't seem to come on other than manual which I suspect is a float issue but there always seems to be a couple gallons that come out when I run it. Thanks!!

If you are looking for the bilge pump, pull the carpet back just in front ( salon floor ) of the inside stairs, there should be a panel, lift it and the pump is there.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Bud's got the location. Mid bilge water should be investigated as to the source as should any another water in the bilge. A happy bilge is a dry bilge in my book.
